The ceremony is serious and your vows are sacred. Laughter should also be part of your day. Everyone will leave with a smile in their hearts if you add a humorous reading, story, or toast to the ceremony or reception. Your wedding ceremony humorous reading can be a favorite funny song or unique guote that somehow ties into your feelings about your marriage. It should say something from your hearts that you would like to share with everyone. Maybe it is about something the two of you shared in the past and laughed about, later. Whatever you choose, it should reflect your happiness and commitment to each other. The reading can be spoken by the bride and groom, or someone special. Perhaps the best man and maid of honor, or maybe the mothers could collaborate on childhood stories that show how perfect for each other the happy couple is. Keep your wedding ceremony humorous reading short and genuine. You probably have children and grandparents watching, so remember to be respectful and tasteful. Your guests will remember the happiness and love that you all shared on your wedding day, and laughter is a great way to start your married life.
